I have held off for a while on my getting my next Stitchfix delivery because of money. My stylist is so great that I always want everything! But it was time, I desperately needed new jeans and begged for some Mavi distressed jeans, a dolman and boho maxi skirt and my stylist Jennifer came through again, sending me all I asked for and doing a fabulous job of looking at my Pinterest board and the trends I have been loving recently.
Before we begin - here are a few words about Stitch Fix and how it all works for you newbies out there [it's okay, I won't tell anybody]. They assign a personal stylist to you, you know like the celebrities get, she has your sizes and preferred style, and asks if there is anything special you are looking for. It's great! You can get a stitch fix shipment delivered every month, every quarter, every payday or just when you feel like it. No commitment or obligation. It's like going into a dressing room without the hassle. They send you 5 pieces in your size, try them on, think about it for 3 days, and send back what you don't want. They just charge you $20 when they send it out, and then you pay the difference for whatever you keep. Shipping is free both ways, you really can't beat the ease and convenience of Stitch fix. My stylist Jennifer always leaves a nice note as to why she picked the pieces, and how I should wear them. I really need that part.
Here we go! Remember - If you see anything that you like below, feel free to pin to your Pinterest board and ask your stylist in the notes section of your next fix for something similar! I am the queen of pinning what I see in other fixes!
I asked for a boho skirt. I wanted something I could dress down with a t-shirt and wear to work. I thought this might be too bright, but it is so comfortable that it quickly grew on me. One of the great things about Stitchfix is how it gets you out of your comfort zone. This skirt actually goes perfectly with my bright Lavish lip gloss.
I love this top. If you know me, you may already know I have an obsession with daisies. I love that this is a black top but with bright colors, and that this floral print doesn't feel like the old grandma floral. This is a sheer top, I have a black cami underneath. The sleeveless look may not be the most flattering on me, but Florida Summer is almost here, so it will be a necessity.
These distressed shorts are really great. They are so comfortable, and the cuff is sewn so there is no messing with it. I can already tell these distressed shorts will be a staple this summer.
I asked for a dolman top, and black is my go to color. My stylist told me to pair it with a long necklace, and I think it looks great.
Did I mention I begged my stylist for some Mavi distressed jeans? I did. And oh how I am glad she sent these. They are a skinny jean, but have some give and stretch to them, so will definitely be in the frequent rotation this spring.
